At the plenary session, the Parliament of Georgia took note of the information regarding the voluntary resignation of the Head of the State Security Service, Mamuka Mdinaradze, and, accordingly, the early termination of his powers.

Mamuka Mdinaradze was elected as the Head of the State Security Service by Parliament on September 3, 2025.
