The Parliament approved the Draft Resolution on Approval of the composition of the Parliamentary Competition Commission for the Candidates to the Board of Trustees of the Public Broadcaster with 89 votes.

The First Vice-Speaker, Giorgi Volski introduced the members of the Commission:

Mako Jaoshvili – Vice-Rector of the Alterbridge - International University of Management & Communication;
Bakur Bakuradze – Director;
Mikheil Javakhishvili – Musician, Leader of Tbilisi Youth Choir;
Eka Melkadze – Journalist;
Nino Meunargia – Journalist, host of Radio “Imedi”;
Ermile Meskhia – Dean of the Education, Humanitarian and Social Sciences Faculty of Batumi State School of Arts;
Giorgi Imedashvili – Head of the International Relations Service of the University of Georgia;
Giorgi Davituri – Head of IDFI Media and Freedom of Expression direction;
Mariam Gogosashvili – CEO of the Charter of Journalistic Ethics.

The Resolution shall become effective upon the adoption.
