The Speaker, Shalva Papuashvili held a meeting with the Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile, Claudia Mix.

The parties discussed the bilateral relations and international security milieu. As Mr. Papuashvili noted, the Parliament of Georgia has already set up the Georgia-Chile Friendship Group and hoped that the Parliament of Chile will soon take a counter step.

He expressed his gratitude to Chile for being the first to support the UN Resolution on the Status of the IDPs and Refugees from the Occupied Territories of Georgia adopted at the UN General Assembly
