The Speaker, H.E. Shalva Papuashvili met with the Chair of the European Affairs Committee of the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia, Domagoj Hajduković, and the members of the Committee.

The parties emphasized the need to activate and deepen Georgia-Croatia bilateral cooperation and expanded on strengthening parliamentary ties. In this regard, they positively estimated the decision to open the Embassy of Georgia in Croatia.

Shalva Papuashvili dwelt on Georgia's progress in implementing EU recommendations.

The Croatian side expressed intact support for Georgia's integration into the European Union and confirmed readiness to share Croatia's experience in this regard.
