The Speaker, Shalva Papuashvili, within his visit to Brussels, held a meeting with the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola.

The parties discussed the cooperation between the Georgian and European Parliaments and the EU integration of Georgia.

The Speaker invited Mme. Metsola to Georgia.

“The President of the European Parliament is interested in Georgia. I believe, certain steps of cooperation will be taken in the nearest future between the Georgian and European Parliaments. Roberta Metsola is a true friend of our country supporting the return of Georgia to the European family”, - the Speaker stated.
