The Speaker, H.E. Shalva Papuashvili held a meeting with the newly elected EU Ambassador, Pawel Herczynski.

The Speaker congratulated Mr. Herczynski on the appointment as the Head of the EU Mission in Georgia and wished him success in his further activity.

As the Speaker noted, after granting the European perspective, the Georgia-EU cooperation agenda is particularly intensive. He overviewed the fulfillment of 12 recommendations of the European Council.

The Ambassador reaffirmed his commitment to actively cooperating in the EU integration, including through the implementation of projects bringing tangible benefits to the population.
