Meeting of Shota Berekashvili with the Business Association members

The Chair of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee, Shota Berekashvili, convened a meeting with representatives of the Supervisory Board of the Business Association of Georgia to discuss pertinent aspects of the business sector, the challenges, and future activities. The potential for business sector development and the prioritized areas for cooperation were emphasized.

“The Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee is actively developing the action plan for 2025, and this meeting was convened within this process. The Business Association represents up to 130 business groups, collectively comprising over 1200 companies. We place great emphasis on receiving comprehensive information about the plans and initiatives of leading businesses, which enables us to make informed and effective decisions to ensure the successful operation of businesses”, - Sh. Berekashvili stated.

According to him, the Business Association members presented up to ten interesting initiatives that will be considered in the annual plan of the Committee.

“It is evident that the progress of the country and the sustainable economic development in the face of the turbulent and pressing global environment can only be achieved through close cooperation between the business and public sectors” - he concluded.
