Member of Parliament Tamar Charkviani met with representatives of the National Democratic Institute's (NDI) long-term observation mission.

The discussion focused on the pre-election environment and issues related to the parliamentary elections.

"During the meeting, we discussed our expectations for the October 26 elections. It is impossible to talk about Georgia's future without Western values. Western values include conducting elections according to Western standards and procedures. We need more observers to ensure that people get the results they desire", - Tamar Charkviani stated.
