Tamar Taliashvili and Khatuna Kvitsiani Participating in Presentation on Introduction of Social-Emotional Skills in Georgia

Tamar Taliashvili, the First Deputy Chair of the Education and Science Committee, and Khatuna Kvitsiani, a member of the Committee, held an online meeting with the school community participating in the project "Introduction of Social-Emotional Skills in Georgia" implemented by the organization Ilia Law House.
The participants discussed the priority of teaching social-emotional skills to students of different levels in the field of education.
"We agree as a collective educational and school community that all initiatives and reforms in the process of implementing general education and contemporary teaching-learning methodologies should be focused on ensuring that students develop the knowledge, values, and social-emotional competencies required for the quickly changing world, which begins when they are in school and involves preparing them for independence and peaceful coexistence in civil society", - Tamar Taliashvili stated.
The project is carried out with financial support from the European Fund (EPF), as part of a grant from the Danish International Development Agency and the Swedish International Development and Cooperation Agency.
