"The Olympic Games in Brazil ended. Olympiad brought lots of happy minutes and emotions to Georgian people. Georgian sportsmen and the delegation members, the Heads of the National Olympic Committee and the National Federations deserve the best words of praise. Georgian sport leaders know it better in which Olympic sports type we could obtain better results but we have 4 years ahead to take the 2016 Brazil Olympic Games into account while undertaking preparatory works for 2020 Tokyo Games for better results.

I would like to underline the fact on the basis of which I afford to make a statement. I do not want to mention any concrete persons particularly, either Champions and prize winners or athletes. I would like to thank our glorious sportsmen and remind them that they contribute the greatest mite in enhancement of image of Georgia on international political arena along with our diplomats and politicians. United we protect and enhance interests of our country! Far away in Brazil, you served as real Ambassadors of Georgia, the Ambassadors of Good Will standing dignified to represent our small country on international theatre.

Any success of our sportsmen and representatives of other spheres is the greatest foreign political success. Georgia has the reason to be proud. Two gold, one silver and 4 bronze medals, a very memorable competition of other sportsmen without prizes but still competing in dignified manner. We will remember Rio Games with these facts.

On this sports feast of the world, Georgian Anthem many times made us emotional. We are proud of our team! I would like to express my cordial congratulations to our country for this success!"
