MPs Teona Akubardia and Khatuna Samnidze held the meeting with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, H.E. Mark Clayton and the UK Defense Attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Brumwell.

“We discussed the political crisis challenges, including the judicial reform and the Law on Amnesty. We touched upon the Georgia-NATO relations. As known, Great Britain supports certain directions of the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package. We also discussed the national and regional security issues”, - T. Akubardia stated.

According to her, the parties also touched upon further cooperation.

“The support that Great Britain provides to Georgia is important and we will apply the existing priorities in the Parliament to raise the democracy agenda in the country”, - she added.
