The Chairman of the Georgian Parliamentary Delegation to the NATO PA, Giorgi Kandelaki hosted the Members of the Italian Delegation to the NATO PA, visiting Georgia within the scope of two-day visit.

The Parties considered the process of integration of Georgia to the NATO, the security issues and the ongoing democratic reforms in the country.

According to estimation of the Chairman of the Georgian Parliamentary Delegation to the NATO PA, Giorgi Kandelaki: "This visit once again indicates to the fact that the circle of politicians, directly engaged in the process of integration of Georgia to the NATO, is increasing. This gives us hope that this process will accomplish successfully”.

The Members of the Italian Delegation to the NATO PA will also hold meetings with the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, David Bakradze and in the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and of Defense.
