The Deputy-Chair of Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committee, Shalva Kiknavelidze attended the ceremony of delegation of the e-library by the National Library to the Staff of the State Minister on Diaspora Issues

The presentation of the Diaspora Network www.tanamemamule.ge was as well been held. The National Library of the Parliament handed the e-library to the State Minister’s Staff. E-bases contain various software, including dictionaries, digital library, photo chronicles. E-library will allow compatriots to easily find books.
The Deputy-State Minister, Zaal Sarajishvili noted that “all compatriots abroad will be able to use e-library containing Georgian writers and their pen-craft, facilitating to maintenance of identity and Georgian language”.
Sh. Kiknavelidze spoke about importance of the project. “Such project once more confirms that modern digital technologies allow shorten the distance between Georgian Diasporas and Georgia. Our compatriots will have the impression that Georgia is with them, at least virtually”. He thanked the involved parties. “Thank you all, involved in the process. In the nearest future we plan the Committee sitting to more comprehensively speak about these issues and outline cooperation plans. I am sure together we will do more good deeds”.
It was noted that the Ministry and the Committee plan future events to support Georgian Diasporas abroad.
