The Majority and the Opposition support the legislative initiative by Kakhaber Kuchava and Mamuka Mdinaradze

The Budget and Finance Committee considered with the III reading the draft by K. Kuchava and M. Mdinaradze on Tax Code.

The draft aims at higher attention to encouraging use of e-engine vehicles as they enjoy the number of preferences over the fuel-engine vehicles, including in terms of reduced air pollution. The world countries are motivated to reduce pollution and through reduction of fuel, they facilitate to e-vehicle through direct subsidies and fiscal remissions.

The changes aim at facilitation to green economic growth and sustainable development as stipulated under EUAA 2014.

According to the First Deputy Chair, Paata Kvizhinadze, the draft was positively estimated by the opposition and Majority MPs. The Committee supported the draft.
