The meeting of Alexander Kantaria with interns

The Deputy-Chair of Education Committee spoke about the educational system, role and important issues. He introduced current problems and challenges in this sphere and spoke about higher and secondary education reforms. Full-fledged integration to EU is impossible without having the educational system compliable with EU standards.
He spoke about legislative activity and recent drafts, namely on Official Language. Interns offered to allow internship be considered as working experience. A. Kantaria supposed to start working on this issue. He also answered the questions concerning University education and scientific research institute reforming, as well as pedagogue retraining and qualification.
MP wished interns success and advised to attend Committee sittings. “Use your internship at maximal extent in order to obtain some skills and knowledge. Outline concrete aim for your dignified life and to build lawful state”.
There are 24 interns this year in the Parliament in various structural units. They are actively involved in Parliamentary life, attend Committee sittings, meet with Committee and Faction Chairs, majority and minority leaders. Internship is organized by HR Department.
