The meeting of Ilia Nakashidze with the Ambassador of China

The Vice Speaker, Ilia Nakashidze met with the Chinese Ambassador, H.E. Ji Yanchi to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation in trade, economic, tourist, educational spheres, as well as people-to-people relations.
The parties touched upon rehabilitation of the Liao Zin Zhao Palace in Chakvi into the museum.
“We discussed the restoration of Liao Xin Zhao Palace in Chakvi into the Museum. The territory was used for the tea plantations as Liao Xin Zhao was promoting the tea in Georgia. We want to restore the Palace and promotion of Georgian team. This place for the Chinese tourists will become an attractive destination”, - I. Nakashidze noted.
The Ambassador expressed his commitment to actively invest in rehabilitation of the Palace. The parties agreed to include Chinese language in schools of Batumi and Tbilisi as a facultative subject.
“We strive to establish and promote Chinese language in Georgia. We already included Chinese in Tbilisi and Batumi schools as a facultative subject”, - I. Nakashidze stated.
