The Chair of the Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee, Kakhaber Kuchava met with the Ambassador of Sweden, H.E. Martina Quick to discuss scheduled reforming in environmental sphere.

The parties discussed all the issues agreed in December during the visit of the Speaker and K. Kuchava to Sweden. “This meeting was a continuation of the visit the Speaker and I served to Sweden in December. We planned our cooperation with Swedish Embassy and SIDA, we discussed future plans of the Committee and the opportunities SIDA will be involved in. We outlined all the issues most relevant at this stage – Forest Code, waste management and green economy, as well as some other issues we presume that we can actively cooperate on”, - K. Kuchava stated.

SIDA plans to enhance cooperation with Georgia in environmental sphere, he stated.
