The meeting of Mariam Jashi, Mamuka Mdinaradze and Giorgi Mosidze with the Principles, pedagogues and the pupils of the schools in Samgori Constituency N12

Samgori Single Mandate MPs, Mariam Jashi, Mamuka Mdinaradze and Giorgi Mosidze met with the Principles, pedagogues and the pupils of the schools in Samgori Constituency N12 to discuss prevention of crimes in schools, drug policy and graduation examinations.

The pupils spoke about the problems in schools and families and express their opinions about solutions. M. Jashi answered their questions. “School safety cannot be answered in a single manner. One detail cannot solve the problem. It is the complex issue starting from the society and our routine life. It is responsibility of each and every of us. Mutual respect in the society creates the culture and the visions”, - she noted and emphasized importance of family, school, friends and media.

There are lots of issues in the country under consideration of admissibility of aggression and violence aired in media, internet and video games. “We want the supervisory service to be centralized but they shall be appointed in consent with the Principal and in case if they are negatively estimated, the Principle and the Supervisory Council shall be entitled to dismiss them or replace. There shall be the cooperation system between the school administration and security service. Both parties shall assume obligations and rights to ensure balanced system”, - she stated.

The Chair of the Georgian Dream, Mamuka Mdinaradze introduced his opinion about solutions. He recalled the situation in 90s and stated that today youth is mode adequate. “We shall hold the campaign against violence in schools”.

He emphasized damage by tobacco and drug use. “It is the matter of consciousness. Motivation of each other is important in this case. You will succeed if you manage to make your peers understand that it is bad for health, mental state, family and life”.

The parties spoke about graduation exams. M. Mdinaradze thanked M. Jashi for this iniviative.
