The meeting of Pridon Sakvarelidze with Interns

The Deputy-Chair of Procedural Issues and Rules Committee met with interns. He spoke about the specification of the Committee activity and noted that the Committee develops, considers and prepares the drafts, resolutions and other draft decisions, also defines compliance of the legislative changes with the Constitution, normative acts, Rules of Procedure and international agreements.

The Committee controls implementation of the norms of the Rules of Procedure by MPs and submits the issue to the Bureau for response. He also spoke about relevant issues and snap Presidential elections. He introduced the rules and procedures of the election.

Conducting elections prior expiration of the Constitutional term is not favorable for the country and it is preferable to hold it at due time. He answered the questions concerning problems in the educational sphere, new technologies and relevant challenges.

This year there are 24 interns in the Parliament to serve in various structural units. They are actively involved in activity, attend Committee sittings. Internship also implies meetings with the Chairs of the Committees, Factions, majority and minority leaders, as well as MPs. The internship is organized by HR Department.
