The meeting of the Chair of the Regional Policy and Self-Governance Committee, Erekle Tripolski and the Deputy-Chair, Gia Zhorzholiani with the representatives of the project “Good Governance Initiative in Georgia”
This is the USAID project and E. Tripolski and G. Zhorzholiani met with the Senior Advisor of Legislative and Oversight Directions, Natia Jikia and the Deputy-Project Director, Pavle Basiladze.
GGI in Georgia is the five-year project for transparency of the Government and increase of efficiency concerning trade governance and service, as well as executive and legislative branches on central and local levels.
As noted, the project aims at enhancement of governance efficiency in Georgia, technical assistance to partner Governmental structures and capacity building thereof.
According to the representatives of the project, within cooperation and agreement, the project envisages trainings for the Staff of the Committee, as well as strategic planning and result-oriented governance principles are scheduled to be established and further improved.
