The meeting of Victor Dolidze with Interns and Trainees

V. Dolidze spoke about EU integration, national security and ongoing social-political issues in the country. He attached his attention to relations with NATO and importance of EU integration, as well as challenges in this process. Successful steps have already been made in terms of NATO approximation, confirmed with the package adopted at Wales Summit. Visa liberalization with EU and member states will be very useful and productive in terms of approximation with European structures.
Speaking about national security and defense, he underlined necessity of special educational programs for soldiers in military-political sphere and noted that success cannot be achieved without education on the path to NATO and EU. He touched upon relevant issues and emphasized currency inflation and Ukraine factor in this process, as well as economic policy of the Government, coordinated work and ways to overcome crisis.
He also answered the questions concerning foreign relations, domestic challenges and legislative activity. MP wished success to Interns and expressed his commitment to organize further meetings on various topics.
There are 24 interns this year in the Parliament and 35 trainees. They are actively involved in Parliamentary activity, attend Committee meetings and meet with Committee, Faction Chairs and majority and minority leaders, as well as MPs. Internship is organized by HR Department.
