The presentation of the Book by the Chair of Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committee

The Rustaveli Academic Theatre hosts the presentation of the Book by Teimuraz Chkuaseli “When the Mirrors Stop Smiling”. The event is based on the Conference held on March 7-10, organized by the Committee, on “Woman and Migration” and the international project “Give your Book away to Diaspora”, within which the author delivered his Book to Sunday Schools, Libraries and Georgian Diasporas abroad.
The Book also was delivered to the International Forum participants held on May 27 with organization of the State Minister Staff. As noted, the compendium was especially prepared for Georgian emigration and entailed much support abroad by our compatriots. “The presentation held within the format of cultural relations with our compatriots abroad, aims at enhancement of cultural links, involvement of Georgian emigrants in cultural life of Georgia and their integration to Georgian reality”, - T. Chkuaseli stated.
The presentation was attended by the Speaker, former PM, Bidzina Ivanishvili, MPs and Government members, the Chair of Tbilisi City Council, Giorgi Alibegashvili, the Tbilisi Mayor, David Narmania, invited guests and Georgian compatriots.
