First of all, I would like to thank media for attention. Today, I would like to make a statement about a fundamental matter. Unfortunately, I missed the Rustavi2 program broadcasting Mikheil Saakashvili calling me a “swindler and a Russian Jew”.

I personally, Shota Shalelashvili consider it as the anti-Semitic and racist statement insulting not only me but the Jewish society residing in Georgia. The modern world has agreed that not even the politicians but the average people shall not use this language.

I cannot assess the mental state of M. Saakashvili but this man has managed to commit three crimes in his 3 words. First of all, speaking about swindling, it is a humiliating word, and besides he made the second racist and the third anti-Semitic statement.

Thus, I set to launch the political campaign and respective procedures against Saakashvili on the occasion of this humiliation.

My response on legal level will be at maximal extent strict – my lawyers have already commenced to get ready for the legal procedures.

Naturally, hereby statement will be dispatched to numerous Jewish organizations worldwide, to the international organizations and US Congress Human Rights Protection Committee.

I expect the respective response by the political forces, media and civil society to the racist and anti-Semitic statement made by Saakashvili full of hatred. I hope that they will dissociate with his statement and make respective response.

I would like to touch some of the recent issues in addition:

1. I shall elucidate my relations with Bidzina Ivanishvili that despite my greatest respect to this person, I have never had any kind of business relations with him;

2. As to my son, he was indeed a suspect in cybercrime in USA. He is not under a preliminary detention and we expect the Court Order hoping for the acquitting sentence. The question concerning the bank seizure is technical. We had some technical impediment by the bank, which was rapidly elucidated.
