The Ukrainian colleagues sent the letters of gratitude to Tedo Japaridze and Tinatin Khidasheli

Media and Society 05 Feb 2015

The Chair of Ukrainian Delegation to PACE, Vladimir Ariev and member of Delegation, Andrey Lopushanski sent the letters of gratitude to T. Japaridze and T. Khidasheli. “Mr. Japaridze, I would like to confirm my high respect to you. Let me, on behalf of the Ukrainian Delegation to PACE, thank you for support to lawfulness and fair position upon voting for Resolution 2034 on Ratification of Authority of the Delegation of Russian Federation. It was one more important confirmation by the Assembly that it is loyal to the rule of law and democracy. Ukrainian Delegation once again confirms aspiration to continue dialogue for peace in our countries, and for stability in Europe. Let me as well to intermittently inform you with the ongoing events in Ukraine”, - V. Ariev stated.

“Mrs. Khidasheli, on behalf of the Ukrainian European Party and Ukrainian citizens, let me thank you for support to the Resolution on Humanitarian State of Ukrainian IDPs and Refugees”. Such unified position of European states plays an important role for peace-building in Europe. The current situation in Ukraine requires attention and swift response by International Community to the position of Russia when there is the evident threat to destruction of international order. We look forward to our further steps to cooperation as we, as the Ukrainian European Party, are committed to undertake all necessary measures. We are interested to take a strong, liberal position in CoE”, - A. Loposhanski stated.
