The Uruguay-Georgia Parliamentary Friendship Group established

The Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nikoloz Samkharadze participated in the ceremony of the set-up of the Uruguay-Georgia Parliamentary Friendship Group in Uruguay. The establishment act was signed by the Speaker of the Parliament of Uruguay and the members of the Foreign Affairs Committees of the Senate and Chamber of Representatives, as well as the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nikoloz Samkharadze.
The speeches were delivered by the Speaker of the Parliament of Uruguay, as well as the Chairs of the Foreign Affairs Committees of the Senate and the Chamber of Representatives, and N. Samkharadze. The ceremony was as well attended by the representatives of the Foreign Ministry of Uruguay and the diplomatic corps.
“The set-up of the Uruguay-Georgia Friendship Group in the Parliament of Uruguay coincided with our first official visit to Uruguay. The set-up of the Friendship Group composed of 11 MPs evidences the dynamically developing and solid partnership, as well as successful bilateral relations between our countries and parliaments”, - N. Samkhradze noted.
