Archil Talakvadze: we appreciate the strong support of Hungary at our EU integration path; and the Minister of Justice reiterated it at the meeting

The Vice-Speaker, Archil Talakvadze held a meeting with the Minister of Justice of Jungary, Judit Varga and the Governmental Delegation.

The meeting was dedicated to the deliberation on bilateral cooperation and the European future of Georgia. Hungarian politicians affirmed their support to the EU integration of Georgia.

“We appreciate the strong support of Hungary at our EU integration path; and the Minister of Justice reiterated it at the meeting, which is paramount for us in this period of time. It is the greatest political support of the EU member state and naturally, Georgia keeps the dialogue with all EU member states and at the given moment, the support of Hungary is highly positive and crucial and we value the position of our Hungarian friends they have regarding Georgia. In fact, Europe and true friends of Georgia witness the progress that our country has achieved and give due evaluation to the reforms we have undertaken. Georgia is a reliable partner to Europe in the region and providing the bilateral relations and the progress we manifest, Georgia deserves the EU candidate status”, - A. Talakvadze stated after the meeting.

The meeting was attended by MPs Anri Okhanashvili and Mariam Lashkhi.
