The Delegation of the Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sports of the National Assembly of Armenia serves the visit to Georgia with the invitation of the Culture Committee.

The Armenian MPs were hosted by the Chair of the Culture Committee, Eliso Bolkvadze and dwelt on the cooperation between the Committees.

“It was a friendly meeting between the Chairs and members of the Culture Committee of the Georgian Parliament and the Delegation of the Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sports of the National Assembly of Armenia. It is noteworthy that the Committees have concluded the Memorandum of Cooperation and we have held active communication with our Armenian colleagues for the last two years. The members of the Culture Committee visited the National Assembly of Armenia and today, we host our counterparts with the response visit. At the meetings, we echoed numerous interesting and business initiatives and we take active steps in implementing the projects and the action plan that we have outlined on the basis of our cooperation”, - E. Bolkvadze noted.

According to her, the parties now aspire to organize the Georgian and Armenian days in Yerevan and Tbilisi.

Per her assessment, the applied format of cooperation is mutually beneficial and interesting for the two countries.

The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Chair of the Committee, Irakli Mezurnishvili, the Deputy Chair Isko Daseni, and MPs Baia Kvitsiani and Sumbat Kyuregyan.
