MP, Giorgi Khatidze participated in the IPU 5th Global Forum of Young Parliamentarians on December 14-15 in Baku dedicated to facilitation to sustainable development and protection of interests of future generations considered by MPs from 43 countries.

The participants discussed higher engagement of youth in parliamentary life, political and public activities.

G. Khatidze delivered the speech on current situation in Georgia and noted that youth engagement shall be facilitated not only in central authorities and institutions but in municipalities as well. It is important to establish and improve respective conditions to ensure more engagement of youth in political and public life.

The participants adopted the document outlining the certain steps for provision of better engagement of youth.
