Giorgi Khatidze participating in the IPU Regional Seminar in Budapest

The Head of Georgia-Hungary Friendship Group, Giorgi Khatidze participated in the IPU Regional Seminar “Goals of Sustainable Development” held in Budapest on February 23-24 with participation of the MPs of Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
The Delegates considered the global challenges of sustainable development and outlined future plans. G. Khatidze addressed the delegates and introduced ongoing and implemented legislative and other changes in Georgia in this direction.
The meetings were held with the Hungarian MPs, IPU President and the Deputy Chair of Foreign Relations Committee. G. Khatidze also met with the IPU Vice-President and Head of Hungary-Georgia Friendship Group.
The parties discussed inter-Parliamentary relations. Hungarian MPs underlined successful democratic reforming in Georgia. G. Khatidze thanked the Hungarian colleagues for cooperation and active support of Georgia.
The meetings were attended by the Ambassador of Georgia to Hungary, Zaza Kandelaki.
