The meeting of Giorgi Volski with the OSCE Chair in office, the Foreign Minister of Poland, Zbigniew Rau

The First Vice-Speaker, Giorgi Volski held a meeting with the OSCE Chair in office, the Foreign Minister of Poland, Zbigniew Rau to discuss the Georgia-Poland bilateral relations, security challenges in the region, Russian aggression in Ukraine and its possible impact on Georgia.
Mr. Rau underlined the OSCE efforts to keep the Georgia issue on the OSCE agenda.
“We overviewed the developments in Ukraine as one of the manifestations of the aggression started in 2008 and earlier periods. We noted that Georgia is practically a country under the threat after Ukraine facing the Russian aggression and the Polish politician expressed his intact and clear position on behalf of the Foreign Ministry of Poland that Georgia will enjoy uninterrupted active support in bilateral relations and within OSCE”, - G. Volski stated.
The meeting was attended by the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee Nikoloz Samkharadze, First Deputy Chair of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee Eka Sepashvili and the opposition MPs Teona Akubardia and Tinatin Bokuchava.
