The Member of Parliament representing the single-mandate district of Bolnisi, Dmanisi, Tetritskaro, and Tsalka, Gogi Meshveliani, convened a meeting with students from the Bolnisi municipality at the Parliamentary Palace.

The gathering was attended by participants of the grant project, titled "Promotion of Personal Development and Awareness among Rural Youth," hailing from various villages within the Bolnisi municipality, namely Nakhiduri, Talaveri, Darbazi, Kvemo Bolnisi, and Kazreti.

The implementation of this six-month initiative is overseen by the Civil Equality Platform organization.

During the session, Gogi Meshveliani addressed the students, focusing on key legislative and supervisory priorities, the engagement of young individuals in the political and economic spheres of the nation, the involvement of women and ethnic minorities in politics, infrastructural projects in the region, as well as the endeavors of community organizations.

"The involvement of young people is of utmost importance both in political processes and in management issues. Youth energy, listening to youth opinion has always been a priority of our government and many steps have been taken in this direction. The most important thing is that the financing of youth programs and events will be activated, a lot of resources will be allocated to the youth agency in order to involve even more young people in the beneficial processes that are being carried out in the country", - Gogi Meshvelian stated.

The participants of the meeting also visited the Parliamentary Palace and the Museum of Georgian Parliamentarianism named after Ekvtime Takaishvili.
