Irakli Chikovani, head of the Friendship Group of the Parliament of Georgia with the Parliament of the Czech Republic, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Georgia, H.E. Petr Kubernát.

The discussions centered around the relations between the Czech Republic and Georgia, as well as the future prospects of cooperation. This included the process of Georgia's integration into the European Union, for which the Ambassador, representing his country, conveyed their support.

"During the introductory meeting with the Ambassador, we talked about the agenda that Georgia has in terms of European integration. The Czech Republic upholds this process. We also talked about the projects that the Czech Republic is implementing in Georgia. We are talking about development projects, including projects that they are implementing in Zugdidi, in my single-mandate district and in other regions of Georgia", - Irakli Chikovani commented after the meeting.
