Meeting of Irakli Chikovani with Czech Delegates

Irakli Chikovani, the head of the Friendship Group of the Georgian Parliament with the Parliament of the Czech Republic, held a meeting with members of the Senate and the European Union and European Affairs Committees of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic.
During the meeting, the discussions revolved around bilateral relations between Georgia and the Czech Republic, encompassing parliamentary connections, prospects for future cooperation, and European integration.
"The discussions focused on bilateral relations between the countries, examining the current dynamics in terms of trade and economy. Furthermore, the potential for fostering regional connections between the Czech Republic and Georgia was explored. Considerable attention was dedicated to the issue of candidate status for EU membership. Notably, the Czech Republic pledged its support, affirming that they will back Georgia's pursuit of candidate status", - Irakli Chikovani stated after the meeting.
Members of the Parliament of Georgia also participated in the meeting: Teona Akubardia, Gela Samkharauli, Levan Karumidze, and Greta Tsitsava.
