Levan Koberidze participating in the Round Table on Drug Policy in Europe held in London

The Deputy Chair of the Health Care and Social Issues Committee, Levan Koberidze participates in the Round Table with invitation by the Chatham House and APPG for drug policy reform along with the experts and members of European Parliaments. The session is dedicated to “drug policy reform in Europe – current data”.

“The meeting allows MPs throughout Europe sharing experience on drug policy. It covers sundry presentations and emphasizes the discussion and exchange of experience. We discussed the law on decriminalization; de-facto decriminalization and de-penalization; cannabis regulation for medical purpose; and challenges of new psychoactive agents”, - L. Koberidze noted.

The meeting is attended by English, German, Sweden, Portuguese, French, Czech, Latvian, Spanish and Estonian MPs.
