Today, the Single Mandate Member of Parliament, Goderdzi Bukia met with the students from Khobi region of various higher institutions. The leader of Mtatsminda St. Nino Cathedral, the Archpriest Makhare Bukia blessed the students.

The Head of Khobi municipality, Igor Tkebuchava introduced the current and prospective projects of social and economic development trends of Knobi region to the students and the Member of Parliament. He spoke of involvement of students in these projects.

The MP answered the questions of the students concerning the problems of the population of the region, specifically the problems of youth. Goderdzi Bukia spoke of the issue of attraction of funds, necessary for education of youths from the poor families. He also touched upon the prospects of employment of youth and arrangement of infrastructure. The students spoke about own perspectives regarding establishment of the cultural-educational centre in the region, which needs corresponding support.

Goderdzi Bukia promised support to the students in implementation of the projects, which will facilitate intellectual and cultural development of the region. According to him, the new enterprises will be launched in the nearest future, which will entail employment of the local population and significantly improve their social condition. He called on the students to go back to their villages and use their education for development and promotion of the region.
