The representatives of the defense and security state agencies introduced to the Trust Group heard the State Budget 2024 Enforcement Report in respective parts, encompassing the state secret-pertaining special programs and the relevant allocations.

The Chair of the Trust Group, Alexander Tabatadze, and the Group members - Archil Gorduladze and Tengiz Sharmanashvili got cognizant of the reports of the Defense Ministry, Interior Ministry, as well as the State Security Service, the Intelligence Service, the State Special Protection Service, and the Special Penitentiary Service.

MPs gave a positive assessment of the reports.

According to A. Tabatadze, the state agencies operating in the defense and security sector, completely consumed the allocations of 2024 by almost 100%. Last year, certain agencies required an increased budget for extra expenses, which were fully consumed.
