According to him, the primary responsibility of the state is to take care of improving the lives of IDPs and ensure their return to homes.

"It is very important that this day is celebrated in Georgia as well, because, unfortunately, the occupation is still going on in our country, we also have IDPs. It is our duty to always try to do our best and make their lives easier, and most importantly, fight to achieve the status quo so that they can return to their families”, - K. Kuchava remarked.

The Speaker epanded on the occupation and noted that Georgia's peaceful policy is supported by the international community.

"We have IDPs, they were forced to leave their homes and today we are all trying together to solve this problem. The support of the international community is very important for the course we have chosen to resolve the conflicts peacefully and enable our citizens to return their homes”, - K. Kutchava stated.
