Members of Parliament Salome Kurasbediani, Mariam Lashkhi, Khatia Dekanoidze, Tinatin Bokuchava, and Ana Natsvlishvili held a meeting with the evaluators of the parliamentary program of the National Democratic Institute (NDI).
At the meeting, the parties reviewed the parliamentary programs of the National Democratic Institute.
"During the meeting, we discussed the projects and initiatives being implemented in Parliament with the support of the National Democratic Institute. Among these projects, for the Environmental Protection Committee, there is support in developing the draft law on pet animals, which has already been initiated in the Parliament of Georgia. Additionally, there is a thematic research project in collaboration with the Education, Science, and Youth Affairs Committee on environmental and agricultural professions. We reviewed all the ongoing programs during the meeting and also discussed ways to improve the support programs mentioned", - Salome Kurasbediani stated.
According to Tinatin Bokuchava, the programs implemented with the support of the National Democratic Institute are very important for the institutional development of the Parliament.
"Under the conditions of this government, all issues are extremely politicized, which unfortunately hurts the effectiveness of these programs“, - Tinatin Bokuchava stated.
