The Parliamentary Delegation, headed by the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nikoloz Samkharadze serves the official visit to Ankara.

Today, they held the trilateral meeting with the Chairs of the Foreign Relations Committees of the Parliaments of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey.

The Delegation also met with the Head of the Turkey-Georgia Parliamentary Friendship Group.

At the trilateral meeting, the parties discussed the regional cooperation, challenges in the Black Sea region and the solutions, Parliamentary links and new initiatives for the trilateral cooperation.

The parties at the meeting with the Friendship Group discussed the situation on the occupied territories, economic cooperation and support of Turkey to NATO integration of Georgia.

Turkish politicians reaffirmed the intact support to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia.

The visit also includes the trilateral meeting of the Foreign Relations Committees and a meeting with the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament.
