Amid the recent attack on the Parliamentary Palace of Georgia, which poses a threat to the lives and safety of individuals within the premises, the red security level was activated in the Parliamentary Palace of Georgia as of 23:00 on May 1 of this year.

An additional security measure was implemented in accordance with Order No. 1/259/23 issued by the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia on September 4, 2023, titled "On the Approval of Rules for Security Protection in the Palace of the Parliament of Georgia."

Under the red security level, all individuals, except those identified by the head of the Parliament's office based on the specific threat and the necessity to mitigate it, are required to vacate the Parliamentary Palace.
