Salome Kurasbediani participated in the meeting convened within the IPU Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians

The Deputy Chair of the Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee, Salome Kurasbediani attended the thematic working meeting held within the IPU Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians in Yerevan.
The attendees discussed the state policy for uninterrupted integration of the young vulnerable groups into society and developed the draft document - a roadmap envisaging certain activities and diverse motivating instruments for ensuring accessibility of the vulnerable groups to education and employment.
S. Kurasbediani introduced the outcomes of the working group to the Conference delegates. On September 12-14, Yerevan hosted the IPU Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians, attended by up to 250 delegates from the Parliaments of over 60 countries and international organizations. The Conference was as well attended by the President and the Prime Minister of Armenia, and the President and the Secretary General of IPU.
The central topic of the ceremony was the facilitation of the youth in employment and obtaining education; the agenda also included the crisis factors such as wars, conflicts, pandemics, climate change and economic challenges, which have a significant impact on the advantages of the youth in enjoying high-quality education and finding a dignified job.
MPs attending the Conference shared the experience of their countries. The discourse also touched upon the diverse directions to encourage the youth. The panel discussion concerned equality, economic welfare and health issues.
