The Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, H.E. Shalva Papuashvili, First Vice-Speaker Giorgi Volski, and Chair of the Agrarian Issues Committee, Gela Samkharauli, held a meeting with parliamentary interns and members of the Students' Parliament.

The meeting took place in the village of Jighaura, Mtskheta Municipality, on the premises of the Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, within the framework of an offsite session of the Agrarian Issues Committee.

The discussion focused on the involvement of young people in legislative processes. Particular emphasis was placed on the role of the Scientific-Research Center in advancing the agricultural sector.

The young participants were also addressed by the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Davit Songhulashvili and the Director of the LEPL Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, Levan Ujmajuridze.

Parliamentary interns and members of Students' Parliament attended the offsite session of the Agrarian Issues Committee and, alongside Members of Parliament, toured the Scientific-Research Center in Jighaura.
