Meeting of Shalva Papuashvili with President of Armenia

The Speaker, H.E. Shalva Papuashvili met with the President of the Republic of Armenia, H.E. Vahagn Khachaturyan.
Shalva Papuashvili stressed the historic and friendly ties that exist between Georgia and Armenia.
In the South Caucasus, Georgia supports peaceful cooperation and cohabitation. In this context, the Prime Minister’s initiative for a peaceful neighborhood, which allows for discussion between the three nations, is significant, according to the Speaker.
The sides also pledged to continue to enhance bilateral relations.
The meeting was held within the framework of the official visit of the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia to Armenia.
The Georgian delegation is composed of Giorgi Volski, Sozar Subari, Samvel Manukyan, Sumbat Kiureghian, Elguja Gotsiridze, and Khatuna Samnidze.
