MP Tamar Charkviani held a meeting with the Ambassador of Austria, H.E. Thomas Mühlmann.

The central topic of the meeting envisaged the EU candidate status for Georgia and compliance with 12 recommendations.

“Today, I am interested in the EU candidate status. I belong to the opposition members who believe that the EU candidacy shall be assuredly granted to Georgia. We dwelt on the foreign course of Georgia and that the population aspires to the West, and that we are indigenous Europeans. I underlined the importance of de-escalation and the resolution of the issue of the third President. These are the topics that I mention at every meeting with the diplomats”, - T. Charkviani noted.
