Today, the Vice-Speaker, Gubaz Sanikidze and the Deputy-Chair of Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committee, Shalva Kiknavelidze met with the Ambassador of Iran Islamic Republic, the Deputy-Education Minister and other high officials of Iran.

The parties discussed cultural-educational relations and Georgia-Iran scientific circle approximation and exchange programs. “We spoke about enhancement of scientific activity between Georgia and Iran, as well as exchange programs for professors and students. We plan the scientific expeditions to Georgian and Iranian historical funds”, - G. Sanikidze stated.
