The Chair of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee, Roman Kakulia met with the representatives of the Leasing Association and discussed the leasing-related problems and the legislation regulating leasing sphere.

As outlined, new financial regulations envisage this sphere as well, which poses the problems and the representatives of the Association demand consideration of the specification of the leasing system.

The parties discussed the Bill discussed with the I reading by the Committees and aiming to analyze the leasing-related problems and challenges.

According to R. Kakulia, “First of all, it is the excessive debt outcomes that shall be analyzed, which is not likely to occur from leasing activity. The certain challenges in regards with leasing shall be outlined to ensure these regulations not restricting development of this sphere so very important for economy”.

The parties agreed that the Association representatives will soon submit the list of the problems for the Committee to discuss.
