The Committee discussed the Agreement on Air Traffic between Georgia and Turkmenistan introduced by the Deputy Economic Minister, Mariam Kvrivishvili. The Agreement envisages the commercial agreements between the air forwarders, including the use of a shared code, which means the shared use of one flight by two or more air companies, where one forwarder is a marketing forwarder and another – operator.

The Agreement regulates issues, such are flight security and aviation security; similar agreements have been already concluded with other partner states. “New Agreement facilitates the air transit between Georgia and Turkmenistan, improved services and free competition and tourism development”, - she stated.
