The Foreign Relations Committee members, Giorgi Khatidze, Levan Gogichaishvili and Georgia-Uruguay Friendship Group member, Mamuka Chikovani hosted the Head of Uruguay-Georgia Friendship Group, Senator Mónica Xavier.

The parties touched upon bilateral economic and trade links and emphasized high level visits and meetings, as well as cooperation in agriculture.

“We discussed trade and economic relations and enhancement of Parliamentary links. The visit of Mme. Xavier will facilitate to enhancement of bilateral relations”, - G. Khatidze noted.

MPs thanked the guest for supporting the UN Resolution on IDPs.
