The First Deputy Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Mariam Lashkhi and the Head of the Georgia-Argentine Friendship Group, Levan Karumidze held a meeting with the Undersecretary for Foreign Policy of the Republic of Argentine, Claudio Javier Rozencwaig.

The parties overviewed the cooperation prospects and the ways to further extend economic and trade relations. Emphasis was made on tourism sphere and joint innovations and startup projects.

“The Delegation of Argentine serves the visit to Georgia in view of the political negotiations. Parliamentary diplomacy is one of the key directions within which the countries communicate and achieve cooperation progress. We dwelt on the economic diplomacy and enhancement of economic and trade relations between our countries. It is paramount that Argentine supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia, and accesses the international platforms through its resolutions in support of Georgia and the resolutions against Russia”, - M. Lashkhi noted.
