The representatives of the Majority and the opposition Factions met with the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Natia Turnava.

“The position of the Government regarding various issues is always clear and known but we wanted to be sure that the leaders of the opposition attending the meeting have a different position regarding all the key issues and we also wanted the Government to clearly express its position. These contradictory positions are useful for both parties. The Government has the opportunity to once again clearly express its position regarding the important issues, and the opposition has the opportunity to once again hear the Governmental position on the issues requiring the alternative solution in their opinion. We did not try and did not expect to achieve the consensus and I am glad that the clear positions have been expressed as was the goal of our meeting today”, - the Chair of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee, Roman Kakulia stated after the meeting.
